PyroLife is a program to train PhDs in relation with wildfires from different disciplines

PyroLife trains the future experts able to provide a highly needed understanding of fire in its global, multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary context in both traditionally and non-traditionally fire prone countries. The PyroLife vision is that European society, as a whole, has the opportunity to better understand and learn to live with fire. This requires moving from fire resistant societies to fire resilient societies.
