Training Events
Training Events are built around scientific lectures, exercises, field trips, poster sessions, and young re-searcher talks. Trainin events follow a logical build up from fire pro-cesses to synthesis in application and are attended by all ESRs, by PyroLife academic and industrial experts and external participants:
- Fire in the landscape: Introduction to biophysical aspects (25 January – 5 February 2021)
- Understanding fire: human dimensions and planning (Online: 13, 15, 21 October 2021 | In-person: 25 -28 October 2021)
- Making change: science-policy interaction (April 4th-6th, 2022/ Field Module April 11-14th, 2022)
- Ways forward: integrated fire management [September 19th-30th, 2022, The Netherlands (face to face) ]
