Training Events are built around scientific lectures, exercises, field trips, poster sessions, and young re-searcher talks. Trainin events follow a logical build up from fire pro-cesses to synthesis in application and are attended by all ESRs, by PyroLife academic and industrial experts and external participants:
Workshops cover future challenges and associated uncertainty: how to prepare for (un)knowns. They are interactive events using a flipped classroom concept: participants study theory (knowledge and compre-hension) in advance so class time can focus on higher level skills (applica-tion, analysis, synthesis and evaluation) in discussions and exercises:

Knowledge dissemination to scientists and stakeholders includes international conferences, online training in risk communication and writing policy and management briefs, and a PyroLife set of webinars.
