Mariña Fernández

About Mariña Fernández, ESR4

Growing up in a fire-prone region in northwest of Spain, Mariña soon understood fire as part of the immense Nature to which we belong. She has gradually oriented her environmental sciences studies towards wildfire research.

Mariña loves learning and facing new challenges creatively. She believes that active communication between all sectors of society is the basis for facing the environmental challenges we are already experiencing, especially in terms of fires.
